Welcome to Richard Newey’s RAAM 2009 Race Diary.
Supporting the Sabre Charitable Trust who help provide education to poverty stricken children in the KEEA district of Ghana. We hope to raise enough funds to build a kindergarten for these children.
The Race Across America (RAAM) is an infamous non stop challenge in which cyclists race as fast as they can over 3050 miles across the USA from Oceanside to California to Annapolis to Maryland - the toughest bike race in the world!
